Name the only player since the beginning of WWII who as a pitcher had over 20 starts & as a position player led his league in one
    of the major batting categories.

I could see a scenario down the road where Shohei Ohtani leads the majors in strikeouts as a pitcher and as a batter.

Johnny Lindell is correct! in 1944 he led the AL in total bases & triples, was 2nd of the Yanks in WAR & 3rd in the American League in RBI's.

Lindell won 24 games in the PCL after his outfield days with the Yanks were over & earned his way back to the majors with the Pirates
as one the the 4 main starters. Amazingly he led the entire pirate team in WAR that last year he played. Although he had less than 100 AB's
he was tied for 2nd on the Pirates in homers
