  • You Know What You're Getting

One season this pitcher was two games under five hundred. All the other years he's been either one game over or at five hundred. Name this 9 year major league vet, who not surprisingly, has a lifetime mark of 500 entering this season. I'm looking for a guy who has been primarily a starter and once struck out over 200 in a season.

Jamie Walker comes pretty close but he's primarily a reliever, has only played 8 years, never struck out over 200 in a season, and never had a season where he was 2 games under .500.

I believe the person you're looking for is Doug Davis
