This question was ringing a bell but no one was at home for me, I was thinking it had happened recently but when I looked it up this is what kept me from posting Jaret Wright.

Great job, Mascott! You are indeed correct (with recognition to Old Sweater who 'knew it' but just couldn't quite spit it out!)

EDIT: Old Sweater, if you are alluding to the fact that Wright also pitched and won Game 4 of the Series, which would have brought his 'career' win total to nine, I almost added the clue that he won a WS game previously, but decided not to. 'Career' win stats don't include post-season stats, but I know what you are saying....

I remember all the hype that WS created for Jaret Wright and the announcers mentioning he was the son of Clyde a few times to many.IMO<<<
