          Ruffing didn't win his first game until 5/18/1925. Two weeks after he turned 20.

                How about players who had losses both before 20 ad after 40? Early Wynn and Nolan Ryan make that list.

                  I ran the stats and sorted them in Excel. I came up with Early Wynn, Nolan Ryan, Mike Morgan, and Bert Blyleven.
