  • 20 Win Season Gap

What pitcher has the largest gap (seasons) between 20 game win seasons?
I once had an awkward Baseball Fever moment just to see what it feels like...

I'll start the bidding at David Cone and ten years (1988 & 1998).

        Since 1900:

        David Cone 10
        Jim Kaat 8
        Roger Clemens 7
        Andy Pettitte 7
        Ed Reulbach 7
        Jack Morris 6
        Eppa Rixey 6

Interestingly enough, Bert Cunningham also had a 10 year gap. He did it exactly 100 years before Cone did (from 1888 to 1898).

Ol' Bert took a few seasons off in his ten year gap.

Rixey's gap appears to be 5 years

Edit: ah, I see he skipped a season
