It was done to sell more concessions. I posed this question, minus the Nixon reference a while back. I can't remember though..
It might be time to quit when one sits and sweats and tries to figure out the answer to a question they posed less than a year ago. I refuse to look it up.. I want to say it occured on the West Coast in the PCL? Oh well, time for bed...

I knew that and I was racking my brain trying to remember his name.
"I think about baseball when I wake up in the morning. I think about it all day and I dream about it at night. The only time I don't think about it is when I'm playing it."

Don't be so sure. The St. Louis Browns of the AA had won quite a few AA pennants during the 1880s.

That is true, but back then, they were the Browns. The St. Louis Browns. So your post should have been, "win a pennant with the St. Louis Browns of the AL", because there may have also been other Browns in the minors.
