Isn't the answer to question 2 4? Mantle did it, Yaz did, and Williams did it twice. In 1949 Williams did lead the league in HR RBI and BA how ever he didn't win the batting crown that year since Geroge Kell hit .59 higher than Williams.

If someone were to do it this season to me, it would be Todd Helton, Albert Pujols, or, Derrek Lee in the national league. In the american league I think either A-rod or Vlad. Papi doesn't have enough consintancy to lead the league.

Uh, my favorite would have to be one Jose Alberto Pujols. He is averaging in his first four seasons 40 homers, 124 RBI's and .332. One extraordinary season could do it.

On q. #3, do you expect a Triple Crown season for any player who is currently active? (I understand this will be just an "educated guess", not a true trivia question.)

2). Five times.
3). In the majors it will likely be either the National League or the American League.

Triple Crown seasons
Three related questions:
1. Who was the last National League player to have a hitter's Triple Crown season? (Name and year)
2. How many times since then has an AMERICAN LEAGUE hitter had a Triple Crown season?
3. Which league will have the NEXT Triple Crown hitter?Tags: None
