    I'm almost positive Hampton was the last pitcher to do it. Randy Wolf hit two in one game on 8/11/04 though. Ken Brett has the record with 4 starts in a row back in 1973 (6/9, 6/13, 6/18, 6/23).

    In the Red Sox forum we're a little boggled by the fact that Bronson Arroyo just hit his 2nd homer in as many starts. Right now the question we're grappling with is, when was the last time a pitcher hit home runs in back-to-back starts? One member has floated Mike Hampton on June 5 & 10, 2001. Can anyone verify?
