All are incorrect. As great a power hitter as Ruth was, it would be very difficult to have a .342 career BA without hitting a lot of singles too. In fact, Ruth barely makes the bottom 50 in singles rate among players with 2,000 or more hits.

True. So, where does Rickey rank for triples?

Among 237 players with 2,000 hits since 1900, rickey is about 46th from the bottom in triples rate.

I bet Willie Wilson is near the bottom in both double and home run rate.
                  Wilson for doubles?
                  Ashburn for home runs?
Staub for triples? or Manny Ramirez?

I'm sorry if I wasn't clear enough in the OP. I am looking for lowest rate per At Bat - not Per Hit.
