  • Obscure Leaderboard

The following is the career top ten in an obscure statistical category:

(Names are not in order). Minimum 3,000 PA:

    Albert Pujols
    David Ortiz
    Todd Helton
    Hank Greenberg
    Chick Hafey
    Lyle Overbay
    John Valentin
    Tris Speaker
    Brad Fullmer
    Dustin Pedroia

Which category does this leaderboard represent?

This one should be easy, but I'll try to come up with some more difficult ones.

This is just a wild guess but were they players who broke up the most no-hitters?
"(Shoeless Joe Jackson's fall from grace is one of the real tragedies of baseball. I always thought he was more sinned against than sinning." -- Connie Mack

"I have the ultimate respect for Whitesox fans. They were as miserable as the Cubs and Redsox fans ever were but always had the good decency to keep it to themselves. And when they finally won the World Series, they celebrated without annoying every other fan in the country."--Jim Caple, ESPN (Jan. 12, 2011)

This is a tough one. Is it something to do with doubles? They all seem to be guys who hit alot of doubles but I dont see the link of how they would all be related.

Maybe most 2 double games in a season?

No. It is doubles related, but remember, this is a career leaderboard. Has nothing do with number of doubles in a single season or single game.

Wow I was really overthinking this one. I was gonna say all of em had at least 1 40 doubles season while either being born or they died in California or played with a California related team. "Philadelphia A's/Oakland A's for Speaker. he was born and died in Texas.

I think the rest of em all were born or died in California or played for a California team.
