            They won MVP Awards in a year between two MVP won by another player.

            For example: Ken Griffey Jr. won AL MVP in 1997 and Juan Gonazez did it in 1996 and 1998, Terry Pendleton NL MVP in 1991(between Bonds' 1990 and 1992) etc.

              1. The more I learn, the more convinced I am that many players are over-rated due to inflated stats from offensive home parks (and eras)
