    Can you name the 14 seasons in which a player led the majors in WAR and played for a World Series winner the same year?

    I was going to throw Bonds' 2002 season out there until I reread and saw it was for WS winners.

    So, I'll go with the second obvious choice...

    Mickey Mantle 1956

        I'll guess Joe Morgan for '75 and/or '76

          How about Lou Boudreau in 1948?

          Ruth from pheasant would be a likely choice in '27. Gehrig probably did it as well in the 30s. Morgan's a great call from PVNICK.

              Ruth 1927 is correct. Boudreau 1948 is wrong. Gehrig never did it.
