    Looks like we'll see 1,935,000 strikeouts by the end of this season. That puts 2,000,000 around the end of 2014. I'm sure if Vegas has a line on it, the hitter with the best odds of being Mr 2M will be Adam Dunn and the pitcher will likely be Verlander or Felix.

    So there have been 17,881 players and the 25 members of the 500-home run club have accounted for 5.5% of all home runs hit since 1871.
