    More than 300 career homers, less than 1500 hits

    Building off of the idea in another thread, name the ten players with more than 300 homers and less than 1500 hits. This includes players still active and those players who retired with this distinction. This does not include those players who managed this feat in the middle of a season and then, for lack of a better phrase, "grew out of the club".

    The guy with the fewest number of homers on this list is Ryan Howard. The guy with the most homers is Adam Dunn. You get to find the other eight...

    Sorted by number of homers:

    1. Adam Dunn
    2. Ralph Kiner
    3. Greg Vaughn
    4. Darryl Strawberry
    5. Troy Glaus
    6. Cecil Fielder
    7. Jeromy Burnitz
    8. Jay Buhner
    9. Richie Sexson
    10. Ryan Howard

    Garvey, Lopes, Russell, and Cey started 833 times and the Dodgers went 498-335, for a .598 winning percentage. That’s equal to a team going 97-65 over a season. On those occasions when at least one of them missed his start, the Dodgers were 306-267-1, which is a .534 clip. That works out to a team going 87-75. So having all four of them added 10 wins to the Dodgers per year.
