  • Top 10 Single-Season BB Leaders NOT named Ruth, Williams, or Bonds

    Babe Ruth, Ted Williams, and Barry Bonds pretty much dominate the record books when it comes to free-passes received in a single season. So, without looking it up, let's name the top-10 single season Walks leaders since 1900 NOT named Ruth, Williams, or Bonds. One player appears twice.

        Good start guys. Bishop and Thomas are incorrect, but the rest are correct.

              Maybe Gehrig in 36 and Kiner in 51, I have those seasons.

                Joost, Stanky, and Wynn are correct. Stanky is the one guy on the list twice.

                Who would've thunk it - three players named "Eddie" in the top 10!

                    I'll try Mickey Mantle- he had several very high BB totals in the late 50s.

                      I'll also give Harmon Killebrew a try- he was a big walker, regularly at 100 or more. Mike Schmidt is also possibility.
