  • We couldn't "hit our weight"?

Name the 4 players who couldn't "hit their weight"?

For example if a player's career average is .230 and he weighed 235 pounds (according to Baseball-Reference's listing) then he didn't "hit his weight" as 230 is less than 235.

Two of the four players were active in 2012. Min. 3,000 career PAs.
    My top 10 players:

    1. Babe Ruth
    2. Barry Bonds
    3. Ty Cobb
    4. Ted Williams
    5. Willie Mays
    6. Alex Rodriguez
    7. Hank Aaron
    8. Honus Wagner
    9. Lou Gehrig
    10. Mickey Mantle

How about some of the real low batting average guys: Kingman, Deer, Bill Bergen, Ron Karkovice, Gorman Thomas

just looked up Prince Fielder. Batting .287 with a reported weight of 275. No way he isn't topping three bills

I had to look up his dad, too. I thought Big Daddy was a lot heavier than 230 lbs! (.255 lifetime BA)

I can't weight for the answer.

Okay, I'm even booing myself on that one.

                  Couple or three guesses:

Frank Howard? Boog Powell? Cy Young?

Have no idea where the 230 comes from, I thought he was "listed" at 240 as a rookie (or at least in his pre-Japan years.)
