    hint-I couldn't find a seat.
    Were you a primarily pitcher?
On one hand, the White Sox had to forfeit a game. On the other hand, disco was finally killed off. So overall, it was a win.

                            • Huh?
                              Yes. I am Tommy Thevenow.
The two hints both alluded to the fact that all (3) of his homers were of the inside the park variety.
I had in mind other hints alluding to
He was the favorite shortstop of both Hornsby and Frisch.
He led all batters on both teams in BA during the 1926 WS.
Injuries seemed to jinx his career.
                              and there were others.
How'd you do that Ian? Good job.

Are you some kind of savant? I'm trying to narrow down an era and position, and you're nailing the answer? WOW!
