Nothing to discuss here. Webb is a no-brainer.

Pffft you'd have to be stupid to not get this one. No offence but Webb is the definition of a power, controlling pitcher. He'd be the #1 guy almost anywhere he'd go.

I agree with the consensus here, it's Webb hands down. He's not only the better of the two, but one of the Top 5 pitchers in the game. Outside of Johan Santana, Webb can be debated with, and possibly taken over, any other pitcher out there.

My list of top 5 pitchers is:

            1. Santana (duh)
            2. Peavy (Great ERA, Wins, strikeouts, and will get better)
            3. Webb(Lot's of wins and K's)
            4. Lackey (averages 15+ wins and 2.00 and under ERA)
            5. Berdard(Getting better)

              Order of Importance:
              1.Brandon Webb
              2.Micah Owings
              3.Dan Haren

              All three are solid though

I'd put Becket in 4th other than Lackey, but other than that, that list looks good.
