well, i guess it's good bennett only pitched 4 pitches yesterday. He got the start today. Hampton scratched FIVE minutes before game time! WOW!

But, seriously, they said it was a muscle strain, so it might not knock him out for too long. At least it wasn't his hamstring or arm.

Hampton was planning to make his first start since Aug. 19, 2005. He missed the past two seasons recovering from separate surgeries on his left elbow.

This is the final season of Hampton's eight-year, $121 million contract.

I was speechless when I saw that Hampton wasn't pitching. I mean, what else is their to say! The guy has had so many setbacks. Hampton has some voodoo curse upon him. That's the only answer I see. Anyway, we'll see what happens next when he returns in two weeks.
