  • Take a guess who got placed on the 15-day DL?

"Mike Hampton has once again been placed on the 15-day DL. To make room for the vacated spot in the 25-man roster, right-handed starting pitcher Jo-Jo Reyes is back with the Braves."

Is this anything of importance you wonder? Well, Reyes is one of the prospects for the Atlanta Braves, so everyone wish the best for him whenever he starts.

Hampton's injury had to do with something he aggravated in spring but didn't seem to have any problem with it afterwards until the warm-ups from last night.

We do wish Jo-Jo the best, but from seeing what he did last season and what he did this spring, I'm not holding my breath. His control is just awful and he needs to get a handle on it.

      Is it time?

What do you guys think? Is it time to just say good-bye Mike? We are all aware of this past few years. I am sure it is frustrating to him, but just as frustrating to us Braves fans. As my title here says, Is it time to just "cut bait" and be done with him? Thanx

Not while an insurance policy is paying his salary while he is on the DL.

I don't think it's smart or possible to cut bait.

Well, part of the salary anyway.

There's no bait to cut either--nothing to be recovered if he himself is unable to pitch.
