  • Turnbow a Brave?

I heard a "small" rumor that the Braves may have some interest in Turnbow of the Brewers. He is unhappy with all the arms brought in over the offseason and to see his role decreased? What would you think about him becoming a Brave.....for a good price.

At this point, he'd be like importing Jeff Ridgway. I think Turnbow has run out of gas.

Bobby would rub a hole in his scalp if he had to watch this guy try to hold a lead.

Dude, that cracks me up; thinking about him rubbing a hole in his scalp! But, yeah he def looked like he ran out of gas last year.

It would make sense since the Braves need relief help and the only relievers that are on the market are either bad or have question marks about them. Turnbow never had great control and it just seems like everybody realized that after his one good year.

No more Brewers relievers!! Nightmares of Kolb return.....At one time Turnbow was effective, but now he's a wildcard. I don't care for his attitude and I don't think it would fit in the Atlanta clubhouse.

Now I said something similar to that when the Braves acquired Farnsworthless. He was decent while in Atlanta, but abandoned the team after the season . I see why the Braves would show an interest in Turnbow, but I hope they don't go that route.

Don't you know it is destiny for a Braves pitcher to go to the Yankees and stink.

yea, I wouldn't want turnbow either. I think acosta can hold it down til soriano or gonzo gets back. He's fastball looked electric last night (97). Also, his curve had pretty good bite. Yes, it's only one game and a non-save and against the nats but still. I don't think there is any reason to panic yet. Bullpen has been good considering the starting and relief pitching injuries.
