hey, I am looking at getting some tickets. Is it better to take the monorail/train into the stadium or purchase stadium parking. Two games are day games two are night games.

Personally, I always drive to the stadium and park there. I don't really like having to ride the train and then having to shuttle before and after the game.I collect any and all Braves cards and memorabilia. I also collect baseballs and Pre-1060's Topps cards.

There is a Marriott I think it is. Just down the street from the stadium. A 5 minute walk or less.I collect any and all Braves cards and memorabilia. I also collect baseballs and Pre-1060's Topps cards.

Oh come on. You can meet the occasional wingnut in any city, and less frequently in Atlanta than some places. You could meet them walking between the parking lot and the stadium.
I've taken MARTA plenty of times with no problems of any sort.
It so happens that my next time in Atlanta I'll be in the parking lot, because I'm driving into town and driving on somewhere else after a day game. But if I'm doing an economy trip for multiple games, I like getting a room in Decatur and walking to the subway stop there. With what I save on the room and the parking, I can cover food, beer and a new shirt at the ballpark.
