All the pieces are there right now and will be acquired through the off-season. It's just a matter of fitting them all together.

I haven't been on much, seeing as it's the offseason and all.

I have been checking the Braves webpage everyday for updates and I can't wait until I start seeing transactions. Of course, that probably won't be for a while.

I feel awfully good about 2007. *knock on wood* I can see us having another injury prone year like we did in 06.

I hope all of you are well. Take care!
Well, several pitchers have been purged off of the roster. lol

I know. I do think that that the "retarded" comments were made out of pure frustration there. However, I think all of us can agree that Frenchy needs to improve. Maybe a full spring training session can help.

I wouldn't call him retarted, but I'm not infected with the negativity. Every player has weaknesses, some just aren't as glaring as others.

I think his swing is part of the problem. I think it's too slow.

I guess his was the worst on the team for any starter, but we played him everyday. I'm hoping to see a lot more of Diaz next year. What was most amazing to me is that Francouer only had 83 runs created in 162 games. Chipper had 101 runs created despite playing about 50 games less than Francouer.
I expected Francouer's OPS+ to be low, but not THAT low. Geez.

Therefore, Francoeur needs to learn plate discipline and how to draw walks. He'll be much better then.

    Scariest, although completely expected, stat:

    Jeff Francoeur's OPS+: 89
    Marcus Giles' OPS+: 90
    Ryan Langerhans' OPS+: 90
