Has this guy been eating his Wheaties or something? The guy has been an animal since moving into the rotation. In the last month, he is 5-0 with a 0.66 ERA in 40.2 innings. He's gonna be the August Pitcher of the Month, he certainly deserves it.

Dating back to 2010 before he had surgery, Medlen's on a streak where the Braves are 19-1 in games where he starts. That includes a perfect 6-0 record this year.

The guy is extremely talented. He's not overpowering, but he uses a killer changeup and pitches to his spots like Maddux and Glavine used to.

He just keeps on cranking...he hasn't given up an earned run since August 11. He hasn't given up more than one earned run in a game since May 28.
