  • Would you take the Centurian bet?

2008, in the event the next two years are as fruitfull as the last 98, won't only be an election year..

IF, and I didn't see an option for a POLL here,....

Would you opt for betting on reaching the Centurian mark? - or - would you roll the odd's on the Cub's falling in line with breaking the streak along with both Sox teams?

I can't say all too confident going with the two's either way.....

I'd place my bet if there were one, on reaching 09. Too bad Vega's doesn't take those odd's.

    For fun, anyone?

CFM - I didn't win the Powerball and I picked a combo of #'s from the 08 series....
Maybe I should have picked a combo from 45?

I have high hopes for the Cubs but if forced to put up some cold hard cash, I'd have to go with the century mark.

I honestly do believe the Cubs will break the curse in 2008. I think they will get to 100 and then stomp on it like the Red Sox did to the BAmbino.

Just a note to all the active members of BBF, I consider all of you the smartest baseball people I have ever communicated with and love everyday I am on here. Thank you all!

They seem to be heading in the wrong direction to me, so I think they will make the 100 year mark.

2008 would be a good year to win it again.

2008 is also the last season for the current Yankee Stadium.....
