Williamson Odd Man Out?

There has been a lot of rumors of Williamson possibly being one of the odd men out in the BP situation...now this
Scott Williamson said yesterday that he wouldn't mind being traded to a team where he could be a closer.
He probably needs to stay healthy for more than a few weeks at a time first, but it sounds like the Cubs are willing to part with him before Opening Day. Mar. 1 - 8:34 am et

While I don't see him being traded, i think he could be a useful trading piece in mid-season if someone is hurt/underperforming...I also wouldn't mind keeping him as a backup for dempster if he struggles...if williamson is back to healthy this year than think of a BP situation with

Williamson has only pitched 43 innings in the last two years. He should be thrilled just to be in the bigs with anybody. When healthy (not often) he has been a very good relief pitcher.
