  • Jones Positions for Offensive Upgrade

good article on jones swing to the opposite field adn his attitude....not flashy, just wants to play hard

Well, it is spring and hope sprins eternal. Jones is what he is - a guy who cannot hit a LHer to save his life. To return to anything like his 2002 level he has to be strictly platooned.

I honestly believe that Jones will play against the righties and Grissom will play against the lefties.

i really do hope that's what happens...grissom can help a lot of things-including teaching pierre to read pitchers and the pickoffs

If this is the Jacque Jones we see all year, I won't be disappointed! In his first at-bat of the intrasquad game today, he hit a homer off Rich Hill, a lefty!

and in his second he singled off of John Koronka...a lefty

note: Lee also hit an RBI 2B as the A team beat the B team 9-2

Hopefully that won't be the Rich Hill and Koronka we see all year, inable to get out lefties who have a bad track record against lefties.

I hope Jacque will fit in well here.
