      • Edmonds makes it hard to like him. The Cardinals background, the HOLLYWOOD license plate, the frosted tips, the general douchebagness. But all if forgiven if you hit.

I have finally come around. I guess he can play for us now. I thought Hendry was high when he signed him, I've stopped second-guessing him now.

          • It's games like the one today that make me so mad with the Cubs. It's all or nothing with their offense it seems like.

            • I know man, you get 11 runs against Milwaukee in Milwaukee, and we can't get a freaking point against Pittsburgh of all teams at home, we just need to start playing better teams it's the crappy ones we can't beat lol.

                • Best part was Marmol. He is looking back to his old self. Hopefully Lou takes note: MARMOL NEEDS REST. Don't overuse him.

Lou seems to be getting that message lately; Henry Blanco has been playing more, and he needs to. Soto was going to get worn out.

                  • Hey just out of curiosity the Cubs were on CSN Chicago today does CSN stand for Comcast Sports Net and if so is that why i couldn't get the freaking game on my Comcast extra innings deal because I paid 200 bucks for that thing and the past week and a half if it isn't on WGN it's been either not even listed there or it's getting blacked out (during the Marlins series because no one cares about the Marlins)

Yes, CSN stands for Comcast Sports Net. As for why you can't get it, contact your cable provider. Also:

                        • I'm happy about the win today, another great outing from Lilly. Those 1-4 pitchers on the Cubs are starting to look like the best 1-4 in the league. Once the playoffs come they'll be in great shape with those guys.

Is there any other 1-4 rotation as good as ours in the game right now??

Only one i can think of is LAA (of Anaheim)

                            • I'd give it to the Cubs, the Angels 1-4 (in order of how good they are there) only has one pitcher with an ERA below 3 while 3 of the Cubs top 4 has an ERA under 3. The 4 guy has an ERA over 4 (Garland, 4.30) while the Cubs 4 guy, Lilly also has an ERA over 4, and actually higher at 4.35, but as of late he's been nothing but lights-out. He's still suffering from that horrible start.

It is pretty close though. However, with the addition of Harden I think the Cubs took the lead.
