For almost 25 years now the Cubs have put together some mediocre teams and planning to do other things in October has not exactly caused a scheduling conflict. Now the Cubs put together a "juggernaut" and I am going to be out of the country for the whole month. I'm trying to get my father to DVR the whole thing and then hopefully I can avoid hearing about it and I can watch it all when I get back.

Throw some ground balls - it's more democratic.-Crash Davis

My work schedule has pretty much kept me from seeing any games for about three weeks now. I understand we made the postseason or something.

I love these Cubs, and I know I shouldn't be complaining about things, but I am freaking tired of lacksadaisical Soriano!! That lazy dude never runs hard! He just led off the game with a single that should have been a double, but he doesn't hustle. Just like he doesn't hustle on short pop-ups to shallow left field.
Why doesn't Pinella get on him for that? Even Bob Brenley mentioned he should have made it to second base!!I'd walk through hell in a gasoline suit to play baseball. - Pete Rose
