Lee Elia dropped his famous tirade against Chicago Cubs fans today. Note - I replaced ALL of the bad words with random video game creatures from a video game.

Well, that is part of it, but I didn't want to post all of it, because it goes on and on with how the Cubs organization should be in Elia's eyes. Not to mention it has a LOT of bad language, which wouldn't work well on this forum.

Later on that same year, Lee Elia was fired with 39 games left in the season for failing to post a winning record. He was replaced with Charlie Fox that same year.

Now, here is a small trivia question: Name the Cubs that would join their 1984 pennant campaign the next season that didn't play for them in 1983.

I don't think he expected to be anything less than sacked. I was too young to remember it, but my grandfather told me about it one day when I was old enough.
