  • Congrats to Maddog

For notching his 350th win last night. Five more wins and he surpasses Clemens, one of my least favorite players. Someday, we'll have a proper debate over who the better pitcher was.
To offset some of the pain of being a diehard Cubs fan, I've learned to also be a moderate Yankees fan.

Honestly... it shouldn't be a debate really. It's Maddux all the way. Better career and peak. All Clemens has on Maddux is Ks (I'm assuming Maddux will beat him in wins).

Actually, I think they were about the same because I lettered in all sports, and I was a two-time state decathlon champion.

My sophomore year I placed 2nd, and my junior and senior year - I got smart and piled up enough points between myself and second place where I didn't have to run the mile.

Clemens also has him beat on illegal drugs.

And getting in relationships with 15 year old girls.

Other than those redeeming qualities, I think I'll take Maddux.

I hope you are either joking, 15 years old, or both!

Well, I haven't done either of those things since I was 15. I guess turning 16 wised me up to both. I guess not everything clicked for Roger.

Maddog is going to go past Clemens. Maddog is one of the best pitchers I have ever seen. Not because of the 15 strikeouts per game-but because of his control. He throws it exactly where the catcher wants it to go every single time.
