  • Sleeper NL MVP Candidate: Aramis Ramirez (3-26 article)

    Excerpt:
"Aramis Ramirez of the Chicago Cubs has always been an interesting player to me. Coming up with the Pittsburgh Pirates he was one of the can’t miss prospects. Then after he exploded in 2001, he collapsed in the year 2002. Then his career with the Chicago Cubs began, and things have been on the way up ever since. I am going to go as far as saying that Aramis Ramirez will be the National League Most Valuable Player (MVP) this year"

i dont no, theirs no dout in saying that hes one of the best 3b in the MLB. but i think that MVP is pushin it. if someone on the cubs would get it it would be derik Lee, but my guess is Albert Pujols will take the MVP.

That is what I've been saying all along. He was playing almost as good as Derrek Lee last year until he got hurt. I mean, he had 92 rbis in 123 games. He had 31 homers in the 123 games. he had 140 hits in 123 games. His average was .302. That's pretty damn good if you ask me. This year he needs to just focus on winning and staying healthy though. I would take a World Series victory over a cub winning the mvp any day. If you are not a cub fan you do not know what weve gone through for the last 98 years. Except if maybe you are a Red Sox fan.
      Can you say S O R I A N O !!!
