  • The Hunt for Red(s) GM

Since Dan O'Brien has been relieved of his duties, it's time to play the "HUNT FOR GM" game...who do you think should be this year's Reds GM?

Kullman should probably remain in charge for the rest of the year. however, i would love to see DePodesta come in.

I think O'Brien was fired to close to the MLB season, but then again, Kullman could probably do a better job than O'Brien.
Unlike most other team sports, in which teams usually have an equivalent number of players on the field at any given time, in baseball the hitting team is at a numerical disadvantage, with a maximum of 5 players and 2 base coaches on the field at any time, compared to the fielding team's 9 players. For this reason, leaving the dugout to join a fight is generally considered acceptable in that it results in numerical equivalence on the field, and a fairer fight.

        2003:

OF Jose Guillen to Oakland for RHP Aaron Harang, RHP Joe Valentine, and an OFer i don't remember

3B Aaron Boone to New York for LHP Brandon Claussen

LHP Kent Mercker to Atlanta for RHP Matt Belisle

those are the three important ones off the top of my head.
