  • Bruce called up

The Jay Bruce era begins tonight against Pittsburgh. It's about time!

    Finally!

I agree, it's about time! Now if they can go ahead and move Jr. so Bruce can play RF, they should get better in a hurry!
And this one belongs to the Reds!

Bruce so far is showing consistents through two games. I like seeing him in the same line-up with Votto. This team is really starting to come around.

I've been hearing about this guy for 3 years. Either way, I think this is a positive for the Reds team to have him on the team. I hope he does well. Bruce/Votto could pack a powerful punch for years to come.

The Reds are putting a nice team together with Bruce as the centerpiece. What a talent!

In his first week since being called up, Bruce has reached base 21 times in 32 plate appearances. I wonder if anyone has done so well reaching base in their first week as a big leaguer?

Yeah, even with his mini slump he is still over .300 even now. This guy is going to be a consistent hitter, in my opinion. What do you think he will finish the season hitting? I'm going to say .325.

                  He's at .325 now, so I don't see him staying there. I'll say .295.
