    Luis Arroyo pitched briefly for the Reds in 1959, posting a 3.95 mark in 10 relief appearances. He died January 13 at 88.

    NEW YORK -- Luis Arroyo, a two-time All-Star pitcher who helped the New York Yankees win the 1961 World Series, died Wednesday. He was 88.

    The Yankees said Arroyo's daughter, Milagros, told the team he died in Puerto Rico. She said he had been diagnosed last month with cancer.

    John Walsh scouted for the Reds. He died November 16, 2015 at 89.

    John R. Walsh, 89, of Windsor, beloved husband of Marie (Quinn) Walsh, passed away Monday, November 16, 2015. ...

    He began scouting for the Cleveland Indians and after some time went to the Cincinnati Reds where he later retired after 30 years of service.
