What do you miss about the Rockies? I miss two things. 1 is goin way back to '93-'98, when they had Dante Bichette, Andres Galarraga, and Larry Walker, "The Good Ol' Days", and from '99-'04 when Helton still hit 30+ homers. Now, Helton just hit 10 or 15+ homers.

During the late 90's when the Rockies had decent teams built around a strong lineup I missed slugfest like you wouldn't believe. There was games when we played the Rockies in the early years when the Blue was up 9-2 and I would turn off the game and go do something else for awhile than I turned back on the game later it was 11-11. We had I do not know how many games like that. There was a series in 97 I believe that set the MLB record for most runs scored in a 3 game series. I missed the Hideo Nomo no-hitter at Coors Field the most unbelievable thing I may ever see in my life as a baseball fan.

I miss the days when the Rockies ended the season with a winning record (1995-97 and 2000). Now it's been a tough road for fans and the players to reach a winning record again because we don't have many key players at the moment, and again, not the team's or fans' fault. Who do I blame it on? Nobody.

Another thing I miss: The big three. Bichette, Andres Galarraga and "the Candian Clubber" were the three to watch out for back in the early seasons for the Rockies.

(not really on topic, but another thing I missed in the early years) I'm a bit worried today about the CR: losing season habits (injuries are unavoidable), but the Rockies (never shall I call them the Rox!) need to build up confidence, sign key players to contracts, and improve pitching, and they'll have a better season than 67-95. I don't treat baseball coaching like it's easy. It's very hard, like quantum physics.

Something isn't quite clear to me. You have a Colt 45's sig, your location is St. Louis and you talk about the Rockies like they are your team.

Of course it is possible to be a fan of more MLB clubs. I am myself. But for whom are you rooting?

Born and raised a Mets fan, but have adopted the Rockies as my 2nd favorite team since moving to Denver 10 years ago.

I miss the Blake Street Bombers and the sold-out seasons at Coors field. I loved the atmosphere there and it was my favorite park to see a game at. It's lost some of its luster since it's virtually empty every game now.

Good things about this: getting great seats from the scalpers is great!

I have a .45 avatar because I like the logo, and the Rockies are my second favorite team, falling behind the Cardinals.

I know the Colorado Rockies is not as good as St. Louis, but they do have Todd Helton, who had a season unlike like his previous ones. Will next year be an improvement for him? Time will tell.

I miss watching the Rockies win, they had to play defense with offense and in any sport that is a fan's dream. Another thing I was pondering was all the players that have played with the Rockies: Juan Pierre, Vinny Castilla, Larry Walker, Andres Galarraga, Ellis Burks, Charlie Hayes. Now those were the days.

I've been a Red Sox fan living in Denver for the last 4 years, so I didn't see the Blake Street Bombers. . . they've basically sucked since I've been here

But I do root for them, though. And while not my favorite place to see a game (Fenway will always be my favorite), Coors Field is a great place to watch baseball. My tip is to buy the $4 rockpile seats and you can basically sit wherever you want.
