So far in ST it looks like Giles has improved his chances for 2nd base.

Same for Podsednik over Sullivan at this point in time.

It'll be Nix. Quintanilla won't make the team, Barmes plays SS naturally and might start the year in AAA, Ian Stewart is NOT a second baseman period and Giles is burned out... He looks slow this year... Although if Barmes starts the year in AAA or is dealt I think Giles will make the roster.

Huh, I see no love for the the odds on favorite by the Rockies choice to lose the job in ST.

I see more love for a guy with a unproven bat at the MLB level that may even have less range at 2nd then Jeff Kent since he is bigger.

I'd be clicking my heels if Marcus Giles made the team and had a good enough year to win the comeback player of the year award but he hasn't had a good year since he left the Braves. He'll have to have a good ST just to make the team.

I've gotta go with Giles. He has experiece, and isn't slow. I think he'll win Comeback Player of the Year Award.

The Rockies are having like a American Idol try out for the 2nd base job.

Who do you think will win it Rockies or MLB fans?
