I'm not too much of a guy who just likes to complain about the team, I just like the game. Not much better in life than sitting down to watch the game on a Sunday afternoon with a cold one, and drifting off to sleep toward the middle innings. I spent the first few years of my life in LA, so I have Vin Scullys voice ingrained in my mind as the prototypical baseball announcer.
I was happy with wayne and jeff back in the day, I thought they did a good job, and jack corrigan fits in well.
But since the days of Stiener and Soup, the TV side has been just horrible. Drew and George obviously know more about the game than I ever will, but they lack an intangible that makes me like them, and I can't quite but a finger on why. The new guy Huson that splits time with Frazier is an upgrade, but I wonder why the office is ignoring such a crucial part of the game.
And yes, I do just watch on the tele, turn down the sound, and turn on the radio, but the delay drives me nuts.
