    _______Rockies at Padres_______

_______Greg Reynolds 0-0 -.--era vs Chris Young 2-3 4.31era_______

Rockies: Reynolds, 22, will make his Major League debut with the Rockies in need of a fifth starter after moving Mark Redman to the bullpen. He was the second overall pick in the 2006 Draft, the Rockies highest selection ever. Reynolds is 1-2 and has a 4.86 ERA this season with Triple-A Colorado Springs. He has pitched well as of late with the Sky Sox, throwing eight innings and yielding two runs on April 27. He only pitched two innings in each of his past two starts as it appeared the Rockies wanted him well-rested in case they needed him for this start.

Padres: Young was hurt by several balls he got up in the strike zone of his last start, when the Braves got home runs from Chipper Jones -- who seems to be hitting them off everyone these days -- and Mark Kotsay on Tuesday at Turner Field. Young allowed five runs on nine hits with two walks and four strikeouts. Home runs have been more of a problem this season for Young, who has allowed seven. He allowed 10 last season in 173 innings.
