  • Those McCOURTS sure are EASY TARGETS!

This ESPN story cites the many, many reasons why Frank and Jamie McCourt are easy targets these days....and how Tommy Lasorda is once more invading the space at the top....

The McCourts have always been easy targets since it was discovered that they had no money to begin with.

Everyone and their grandma knows ESPN has always had a right-coast/anti-Dodger bias.

Perhaps next you'll show us an enlightening anti-democrat story from Fox News?

Thank GOD for the McCourts. Dodger baseball is back on track finally thanks to them.

Now don't be sour just because the DODGERS are back in the postseason AGAIN.

From your article: "The Los Angeles Dodgers don't have much credibility as an organization these days..."

This is true, huh? I guess everybody had their own "version" of truth.

              Deb,

While I'm not sure what the article said, because I'm not an ESPN Insider, I've read enough of them to have a good idea. First off, while they may have started off on a bit of a wrong foot, I don't think they're doing a bad job. The results tell me that. Paul Depodesta was a huge mistake. He was in WAY over his head. The hiring of Ned Colletti proved that. He's put together a nice mixture of vets and younger players that allowed the Dodgers to get into the post season, while working in some younger players. I think the Dodgers are in pretty good hands.

Lasorda will always be Lasorda. He loves the Dodgers almost as much as he loves himself. Kept in check he's a good rep for the Dodgers and MLB.

I can understand the dislike of the L A Dodgers by fans of the Brooklyn Dodgers. But these people had nothing to do with the move. That was several owners ago. Walter O'Malley wronged Brooklyn, no doubt. It was a cold hearted business decision made by, perhaps, not a real Baseball man but, definetly, a real business man.
