Nice to see Lee get off to a solid start as he transitions from HS to pro ball.

Now, can Ely get back to LA and pitch this way against the big boys?

Trayvon Robinson going bonkers at Albuquerque. True CF, but he should be in LF in LA right NOW.

        De La Rosa

Great to see De La Rosa have a positive first MLB experience after being called up from Nooga. He is so young, though, so I hope he doesn't flip out. Mattingly's quote about poor Cormier at the end of the article is hilarious.

I demand consistency from the bullpen!

Maybe a late-summer call-up, but it is very good to see Aaron Miller throwing well and dominating hitters, albeit at a step lower than he did last summer. How fun would it be to have Clayton and this dude in the same rotation? Fun, I tell ya!

Get rid of Lilly, give Eveland a shot. Dodgers lost tonight, SD won, so by my math we're 11.5 out and in last. Time to shake up the rotation. I don't think things can get worse. Still positive, though. Positive thoughts lead to positive outcomes. Get hot after the break and who knows? I do believe (strongly) that it is time to pursue other CL options. Broxton appears to be done. Sad, but he seems to have gone the route of so many other young closers. Maybe Kuo can clear his mind and do the job for the remainder of the year? IMO, CL by committee is a recipe for disaster. The starters and middle guys need to know there is a dude waiting to take care of business.

Some happy news to ease the pain of the MLB season: http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/n...vkey=news_milb

LHP Dana Eveland continues to do well at Albuquerque. Maybe it's time he gets a shot to spell L-I-L-L-Y.

This is the moustache that we got for Trayvon?

Nice to finally have a legit catching prospect in the farm system, and he offensive sampling is only about 40 ABs as I type this, but he'd better produce with a 'stache like this: http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/n...vkey=news_milb

From the article, it looks like the young man knows he is expected to produce early and often. I suppose he'll break camp with the big boy team next March, we'll see.

Not saying I was right on replacing Lilly (who has finally started pitching like a man), but I am very happy that Eveland has received a chance. And, boy, did he come through in a big way!

We didn't get the Pirates game, but Eveland appears to have had one heck of a debut.
