The Dodgers have again shored up the batting by signing Shane Victorino from the Phillies for Josh Lindblom and prospect Eathan Martin. Presumably the signing of Randy Choate will cover the trade of Lindblom. Will this be a good move for the team. Batting is certainly a weak link in the team.

I think it will help. But I really think that starting pitching will be a problem.
