The Jeter/Sherman ownership group has had enough time to make some moves and has made their future plans plain for all to see. Was this the best way for a new ownership group to go? Should they have sunk money into the team with the existing roster and tried to compete? Was a rebuild wise? If a rebuild is the right way to go, has Jeter been executing it well or is he making it more difficult than it has to be?

    How are things going?
