Marlins rally in Texas to tie Interleague record

The Marlins are not only making noise in the tightly contested National League East, they're also being Interleague beasts. Backed by Christian Yelich's career-high four hits and four RBIs, Miami rallied to an 8-5 win over the Rangers on Tuesday night at Globe Life Park. By rallying late, Miami kept pace in the NL East, and it also achieved a bit of Interleague Play history.

Alvarez shakes off strain, will make next start Sunday

Marlins right-hander Henderson Alvarez received a scare in his last start, but the right-hander didn't suffer a serious setback. Alvarez strained his left hip on Sunday at Wrigley Field, but the ailment won't prevent him from making his next start, which will be Sunday against the Pirates at Marlins Park.

Turner, Marlins get first look at Yu in Texas finale

Yu Darvish can be tough on National League teams who don't get to see him or his vast array of pitches very often. Darvish is 5-1 with a 1.55 ERA in seven career Interleague starts. The Marlins weren't quite sure who would oppose him, but they have decided on right-hander Jacob Turner. A big start by Turner would put Miami in position to capture a Major League-record 14th straight Interleague win.

colocolo, it looks like I'll get to see the Marlins play again this year, and I won't have to travel all the way to San Francisco to do it. I live in Fort Worth, and my son and I have decided that we want to go see Yu Darvish pitch for the Rangers tomorrow night. And the Rangers are playing the Marlins...

Marlins aim to continue home success vs. Braves

As Atlanta returns to South Florida, the Marlins will have to reckon with a guy who shut them down in a stellar start on April 21 at Turner Field. Julio Teheran on Friday will get his second crack at the Marlins, who have the best home record in the Majors at 20-8. :applaud:
