Marty Pattin,who made the American league all-star team in 1971, the Brewers second year I Milwaukee has passed away at age 75. He went 14-14fin his all-star year,1971, and 14-12 the previous year as a Brewer. He followed that with his two winningest years as a Boston Red Sox going 17-13 and 15-15 before being traded to the Kansas City Royals which became his home, and was used primarily as a reliever for the next seven seasons. In his 13-season, MLB career (1968-1980), Pattin compiled a 114-109 record, with a 3.62 earned run average and he threw 64 Complete Games, with 14 Shut Outs. He appeared in the post-season in 1976.1977, & 1978 in the playoffs with Kansas City and in the 1980 World Series with the Royals, which concluded his active playing career.
