MARYVALE, ARIZONA (TICKER) —The Milwaukee Brewers on Friday signed righthander Carlos Villanueva to a one-year contract.
Villanueva, 24, compiled an 8-5 record with a 3.94 ERA and his only career save in 59 games - six of them starts - in 2007.
