Cubs' big inning too much for Brewers

Another start, another disappointing outcome for Randy Wolf.

Victimized by a five-run fourth in which he gave up a pair of home runs, the left-hander was chased after six innings as the Chicago Cubs denied the Milwaukee Brewers' bid to get back to .500 with a 7-4 win in front of 34,310 at Miller Park on Friday night.

Cubs hope win in road-trip opener gets the ball rolling

                  MILWAUKEE — Sure, it’s early.

But if you don’t think this first, long road trip of the season is significant for these Cubs and where they go from here, just ask the Boston Red Sox or Tampa Bay Rays how important early games are.

Fielder's doubles, Narveson's arm lift Brewers over Cubs

Penciled in over the winter as the Milwaukee Brewers' No. 5 starter, Chris Narveson has looked nothing like a back-of-the-rotation pitcher in his first two outings of the season.

Narveson extended his scoreless streak to 13 innings Saturday night with seven zeros against the Chicago Cubs, leading the Brewers to a 6-0 victory before a sellout crowd of 42,478 at Miller Park.
