On Mike and the Mad Dog yesterday, they were interviewing Lo Duca who said he thought he'd be batting second. Any truth to that? if so, what would the rest of the lineup look like?
1. Reyes (S)
2. Lo Duca (R)
3. Beltran (R)
4. Delgado (L)
5. Wright (R)
6. Floyd (L)
7. RF (R, whether it is Xavier or Diaz)
8. 2b (S, assuming Matsui)
9. Pitcher
I'm hoping they don't drop Wright back to 6th, he can be an awesome hitter in the middle of that lineup.
I might prefer something like this, but I don't know if Beltran would be willing to bat #2:
1. Reyes (S)
2. Beltran (R)
3. Wright (R)
4. Delgado (L)
5. Floyd (L)
6. RF (R)
7. 2b (S)
8. Lo Duca (R)
9. Pitcher
Switching Wright and Delgado would give a "perfect" lefty/righty, but I think Delgado is more suited for 4 and Wright for 3. Thoughts?
