And they take the lead on a RBI double by Angel Pagan. Top 4, 1-0 Mets w/ runners on 2nd and 3rd

But why can I only see FSN Florida on MLB TV!? Because they suck!
I wanna see Mets games on SNY or CW11

The way Marlon Anderson scored brings to mind Casey Stengel's "Can anyone around here play this game?" with regards to the Fish.

Killer game by Santana today, but clueless Willie is up to his junk again this year. 4 pitchers in 2 innings after Santana left, that's going to bite the Mets in the a$$ time and time again like it did is '07. The man has no idea how to run a bullpen. It worked out today but it won't work out tomorrow, and he's just going to blow the confidence of the pitchers and by the end of the year they won't be able to get an out. Santana is an excellent addition but he can't save Willie Randolph from himself

Santana's mechanics don't allow him to pitch much past 110 pitches. He brought in Matt Wise to test Wise. The reason he yanked Wise? He didn't want him exceeding his pitch count. Then in came Scott Schoeneweis...who was finally used CORRECTLY as a LOOGY. And then came Jorge Sosa, who threw all of five pitches. One reason Aaron Heilman pitched the ninth is because they're grooming him to alternate with Wagner to...guess what?...save Wagner's arm. I find your criticisms to be both petty and off the mark.

No problem on taking out Santana, 110 pitches is a lot for a guy who needs to last the whole season. My problem is with Willie Randolph, the clown who is responsible for the biggest disgrace in the history of major league baseball choking on the biggest lead at the end of the year in 2007. If I sound petty then maybe you have voluntary amnesia from 2007. The bullpen was wiped out because of Willie's mismanagement, and he's off to a flying start this year with the same games bringing in one reliever to match up against a specific batter for a single at-bat, a-la Joe Torre who hasn't won a World series in years. Sure glad Torre is gone (don't get me wrong he's a nice guy, but he's past his time) and Girardi is in. I feel badly for Mets fans who still have to put up with Randolph. Hopefully the Mets will make the postseason despite him this year.
