Ummm... putting this poll up now is not really very scientific.

I was just going to make a thread about this.

This moron needs to go immediately. Trade him to the Brewers for Guillermo Mota.

You'd still get the same results.

Have him get on a roll and then trade him for some blue chippers. We have Duaner Sanchez back. If he has problems with lefties (doubtful considering that great changeup), you can always alternate him with Pedro Feliciano. Besides, with Matt Wise coming off the DL, you're going to have to move someone, be it to the Minors or to another team. Everyone, including Sosa and Schoeneweis (who found his job), seems to have found their groove. And that also includes Carlos Muniz down in AAA. Everyone except Heilman. Besides, Matt Wise is virtually the same pitcher...doesn't throw a breaking pitch, sets up his plus changeup with his fastball, also throws a nasty sinker, has good endurance.

-Eppa Rixey, upon learning of his induction to the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Motafy (MO-ta-fy) vt. -fied, -fying 1. For a pitcher to melt down in a big game situation; to become like Guillermo Mota. 2. The transformation of a good pitcher into one of Guillermo Mota's caliber.

You forgot someone by the name of Joe Smith.

The guy gave up a 3-run HR about 30 minutes ago. I suspect your results may skew a tad to the negative side.

Does the Yadier Molina home run in the 2006 NLCS ring a bell? I said it then, said it in 07, and am saying it now. The guy gives up the homers when it matters most.

Well, yeah, but I'd rather have Duaner Sanchez as the set-up man. Though I could live with a combo of Smith and Feliciano setting up Wagner.

He's getting better, only 3 runs today.

That's asking too much. Just trade him to a team desperate for relievers.

I think that in and of itself is asking too much. If you jump the gun, you're not going to get the trade offers you want/will work out.

Let's trade him for a first baseman.

                          I'm 50 % serious.

And if you wait for him to try to build up value, you could end up losing games and having his value only decrease.

I still think we should trade him after a good outing or three. Oh, and thanks for ripping off my sig line...
